Now more than ever, child sex trafficking is coming out more.People are getting exposed,organizations and law enforcement are working together in the process of finding reported missing children in danger of sex trafficking, physical and mental abuse.

Georgia

 Just recently CNN reported  that the US Marshals found 39 missing children in Georgia during a two-week effort to rescue endangered children. The US Marshals Service Missing Child Unit led the search called "Operation not forgotten". During the operation, 9 people were arrested  and cleared 26 warrants and filed additional charges for alleged crimes involving sex trafficking, parental kidnapping, registered sex offenders, drugs and weapon violations. These children are from the ages 3 to 17! Wheres the outrage??? 

Wisconsin

The FBI partnered with the Eastern District of Wisconsin and the Winnebago County sheriffs office had conducted a month long FBI-led operation. The operation was called, "Operation Kick boxer" The sweep included dozens of federal and international criminal investigations. 65 suspected distributors, manufacturers and hands on offenders have been identified by law enforcement  and arrested. Again,  local and federal agencies are working together. 

Ohio

Three mothers allegedly handed their kids over to an Ohio man, 69 year old for exchange for drugs. The kids were reportedly have been sexually abused and autographed explicitly. The children were 3 to 13 years old. The sex trafficking ring was discovered after tips were coming in. 

Pennsylvania

Police rescued a 14 year old girl from a human sex trafficking ring, it had been dismantled since, in East Whiteland Township. The township police and Homeland Security Investigations rescued the minor  from the parking lot of a Wawa in Malverne. The 3 defendants, are from El Salvador.

Oregon

A task forced recognized for exposing child sex trafficking ring in Lane county, Oregon. Child welfare office staff at the Department of Human services, when the staff had noticed parallels between their active cases in the summer of 2018. With their suspicions, laid the foundation for an inter-agency task force, which went on to expose a child sex trafficking ring in Lane County. There was over 10 victims of that ring. 

That's just a few states. Now this criminal ring would not be so prosperous if there wasn't  a market for these innocent kids. What is going on? These are not isolated incidents, like Jeffery Epstein alleged pedophile ring. Think that was made up? This is an international problem. The U.S. Department of Justice report that the largest concentrations of survivors of human trafficking is California, Ohio, Oklahoma (really?) New York and Texas. 

World wide

Now this is from 2011, an internet pedophile ring with up to 70,000 members had been uncovered by police. European police agency, Europol stated "Operation Rescue" had identified 670 suspects and 230 abused children in 30 countries had been taken to safety. alleged suspects were teachers, police officers, and scout leaders. The ages of the kids were 7-14. This was a 3 year investigation. 

Bottom line, limit your trust. Predators are everywhere and they blend in the community so well its frightening. 

Here are 5 ways that each of us can bring an end to child sex trafficking .

1. Education. 

2. Recognize the signs from education.

3. Report any suspicions

4. Raise awareness

5. Take action.

2020 VOTE

Well its election year. My favorite time lmao. Im being sarcastic of course. So the big choices for president are Trump (R)or Biden (D). The mud slinging, the memes, the sadistic allegations. The ads are all over social media. It used to be on T.V. and radio all the time, but since most are on social media. its a circus. 

My story.

I used to be a democrat. Yep, through and through. Loved that party. Until the new "no cash bail law" came into effect. That totally disgusted me. I submitted my voter registration to change my political affiliation to republican. Best thing for me, the far left sounds insane. The progressives, democratic socialists. Its too much. So lets get started and lets compare the two.       

TRUMP

Abortion

Up until 15 years ago, Donald Trump continues to claim that even late-term abortion should be allowed in cases of rape or incest (see Abortion is Murder). As president, however, Donald Trump has worked to defund Planned Parenthood, addressed the Right to Life March, and appoint pro-life judges, including to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Homosexual Marriage

In 2011, Donald Trump switched from not opposing homosexual marriage to opposing it. After the 2015 U.S. Supreme Court's Obergefell v. Hodges ruling in favor of homosexual marriage, he switched again and said homosexual marriage should be respected as the law of the land. 

Healthcare

President Trump opposes universal healthcare coverage but is expected to continue to try to drive down healthcare costs by pressuring insurance companies into interstate competition, international drug makers to stop price gouging in America, and hospitals to make their prices transparent.

Accomplishments

•  Added two conservative Justices to the U.S. Supreme Court.
•  Added two hundred conservative judges to the federal courts.
•  Lowered unemployment rate to historic levels and raised waged.
•  Improved the quality of trade deals.
•  Confronted intellectual property theft by China.
•  Pulled manufacturing supply chains out of China and back toward America.
•  Built substantial portions of the border wall despite fierce Democratic resistance.
•  Leveraged Mexico and Central American nations to cut illegal immigration.
•  Moved the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.
•  Defeated ISIS and eliminated its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
•  Confronted Iranian aggression and eliminated its leader Qassem Soleimani.

Biden

Caregiving, caregivers and long-term care:

 The most striking part of Biden’s platform — to me — is its emphasis on supporting the professional long-term care workforce serving older adults in nursing homes, assisted living facilities and in homes, as well as assisting family caregivers.

Biden calls for improving the pay and benefits of the low-wage direct care workforce, such as home care aides and personal care assistants. They often earn minimum wage with no benefits.

The draft platform backs a national minimum wage of $15 an hour for the caregiving workforce. In addition, they’d get up to 12 weeks of federally provided paid family and medical leave.

Taxes: They’d be going up. Much of the initial round of Biden’s tax increases would come from reversing many of Trump’s signature tax cuts from 2017. This would impact upper-income Americans the most, regardless of age.Biden wants to roll back Trump’s 20% long-term capital gains tax on investments and restore the 39.6% top tax rate for anyone making over $1 million. He’d also close loopholes that wealthy Americans avoid taxes on capital gains altogether and raise estate taxes “back to the historical norm,” according to the draft platform.

Gun control;

The flipside of this is that Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign has been perhaps the most radically anti-Second Amendment campaign on record. Former Vice President Biden is very proud of his role in spiriting the 1994 gun ban into passage. If he’s elected, we will see an expansion of the power of the federal government and attacks on the rights of Americans that will not be restricted to the ownership of firearms. As president, Biden would resume the Obama-era attacks on the suburbs ended by President Trump, give citizenship (and voting rights) to nearly 30 million illegal aliens and use the Federal Reserve to address a “racial wealth gap.”

However, Biden’s desire to erode the Second Amendment deserves special attention. It is a radical agenda that will gut the right to bear arms in this country. Does that sound like bluster and hyperbole? It’s not.

Those are just a few of the platforms that Trump and Biden are riding on. Whomever you vote for, do your diligence in the proper candidate that you want to cast your vote for.

Child for rent

This is  heartbreaking to write, to discuss much less even knowing this exists. Children being pimped out by their fathers, I knew it existed so I got inspired to write this from a post I saw on social media. The following passage was written by a woman and it is presently being shared on Facebook. Again, this was not written by me. 

 I'm pretty open about my story. My father trafficked me from the ages of about 5 or 6 until I was a teenager. Knowing this, I can say, I was never once tied up in a dark place such as this picture. It's important for people to educate themselves on what trafficking can really look like. Many, many times I walked into an amusement parks dressing room—Hershey, Dorney, etc.—with my father, told to wait in the stall, and a few minutes later another man came in acting like he was looking for his daughter. And that easily, a "drop" was made. Out I would walk holding his hand, nothing anyone would think twice about. Usually I'd be given something like an ice cream cone, etc. And like me, these children are often not treated "badly." I mean, yes, they're treated awfully and violated beyond words. I mean they're are not hit, tied up, or beat up. Most of the time, they're treated with fake kindness (which really fucks up children's trust later on in life). But they're often praised, given treats, and made to feel like what is happening is a good (and normal or because they're special). How many vacations we went on where I was left for a minute at the pool, until a man came and I left with him for a while. Airports where I was passed over to another man in a crowd, looking like any girl going from her dad or uncle to her dad or uncle. Again, a public drop and nothing suspicious. Most children trafficked in the US are so conditioned they don't know anything else. It's their normal. I think back as an adult and think, "Why didn't I scream out for help? Make a scene?" But I had to forgive my inner child. There was no reason I knew to scream out for help. I wasn't in danger; this was just my normal life. I say all of this to simply say, it's really important we bring attention to child trafficking in the US. VERY important. And posters like this can get the conversation going, but we also need to educate people that it doesn't all look like this. I lived in Robesonia, a tiny nothing town. My father was a little league coach. My mother knew and helped some with these happenings; and she was just a stay-at-home, small town mom. These things happen everywhere and can look very normal. Best thing we can do is talk to children. We don't need to be graphic; but teachers, schools, need to talk to children about things like this in a child-safe way. Assume these children aren't being taken to doctors. Teachers can make a huge difference. Talk to children. Go with your gut. Schools need to not be scared to act on what they feel. Conrad Wesier had a social worker in the elementary school who pulled me out of class on more than one occasion after teachers noticed "things" and it went nowhere. Social services were never notified. And they should have been. Period. And what you can do is watch. Pay attention. Be mindful. If you're waiting in line at a park, notice who goes in and out with what child. If you see something; speak up. If you're wrong, fine you ruined someone's day, apologize. If you're right, you saved someone's life.

This story amazed me. I'm writing about this touchy taboo subject will spark an outrage a person to step up and lets end child sex trafficking. The emotional scars I ca't even imagine. The safest place to feel safe, is with your own dad. The trust issues these kids will have is just hard to overcome, but not impossible.

Still: a United States Issue

Her-Community2 spoke with Suffolk County District Attorney Tim Sini. The topic of conversation was human trafficking. Human trafficking is the trade of humans (mostly women and children) for the purpose of sexual slavery and or commercial sexual exploitation. Most of these perps advertise on (Backpage.com) Which was shut down by the F.B.I Who would have thought that human trafficking was going on here, Long Island of all places. Now with D.A. Tim Sini has been tackling this huge problem. I know my blog is about women, but this issue has definitely impacted women and children. Suffolk County First Precinct discovered this going on in a bust that happened in Suffolk county. Thank goodness the men and women in the first precinct knew they had to do something. In October of 2017 a pilot program was put into place, partnering the First precinct and the D.A.'s office. The women and children will be treated as victims, so they may get the right direction to be able to emotionally survive and live a productive life. So far over 150 charges have been brought to individuals who are responsible for these crimes. Its not only women, but also children are victimized as well. They are forced into sex trafficking with drugs, emotional abuse, and physical violence. Asian, Caucasian and African american women and children who are from the Long Island area seem to be the most targeted. With Sini's prosecution team, they will addressing the victims like they need to be.....victims. The victims will receive the help they need to get back on track, and hopefully help the police and the District Attorney to prosecute these criminals.
MY TWO CENTS: Human trafficking is a $150 billion business. I don't know whats worse? The fact that someone is profiting from these victims, or that there's a market for it, either way, its horrifying. Its happening here on Long Island, but this is a global issue. We can stop human trafficking by raising awareness about trafficking and slavery and making certain that these victims have the resources to escape this horrible life that they were forced into. With our District Attorney Tim Sini and Suffolk County 1st precinct, I'm most certain they will be unstoppable.  As always I support our D.A. and SCPD for making our communities safer and stronger.
